Envelope drill
Before opening live charts, mark the prior session high, low, and midpoint on paper for BTC and one alt. Note where the Asian open printed relative to that envelope.
Draw horizontal lines for prior day high/low. Shade the zone between them.
Circle the first 15-minute candle close. Above midpoint? Below? Inside compression?
Write expected overlap hour (14:00–16:00 Vietnam time for European overlap). No trade plan yet—context only.
Wick annotation drill
Take three screenshots from any past session where price tested a prior level. Focus on wick length vs. body and where the close settled.
Body less than 30% of total range? Mark as dominant-wick candle.
How many candles wick the same level within 90 minutes? Two or more suggests absorption watch.
Write what volatility context would be needed before sizing. No hypothetical P&L.
Lab materials we provide
Workshop and clinic clients receive printed worksheet packs. Visitors requesting a session can ask for a sample envelope template by email. Materials include:
- Session envelope worksheet (daily and weekly views)
- Wick ratio annotation grid for 15-minute charts
- Overlap-hour reference card for Vietnam timezone
- Replay index listing archived sessions used in Wick Study homework
Practice with instructor feedback
Lab drills are most useful when reviewed in a Session Clinic or workshop. Bring your annotated sheets to a live session.
